Pickup Locations

Pickup locations in Compound Direct help define where orders are collected, how collection details are communicated, and what customers can expect at checkout. Setting these up correctly helps ensure orders move smoothly from creation through to collection, while giving your team clear control over available pickup locations, customer collection options, and workflow defaults.

This guide will help you:

• Create new pickup locations with location details and address information.
• Edit existing pickup locations to reflect workflow or address changes.
• Archive unused pickup locations to keep your workspace clean and up to date.

By keeping your pickup locations well-maintained, you can support smoother order collection and create a clearer, more consistent checkout experience for both your team and your customers.

Finding a pickup location

1. Go to the ‘Settings’ page.
2. Select the ‘Pickup Locations’ button.
3. On the ‘Pickup Locations’ dashboard, all available pickup locations are displayed, including their Name, Address, and Date Last Updated.
4. To display archived pickup locations on the dashboard, click the ‘More Filters’ button.
   1. Click the ‘Archival Status’ drop-down menu, then tick the ‘check_box Show Archived’ checkbox.
   2. To revert to the default list view, click ‘Reset Filters’.
5. Click on the desired ‘Pickup Location’ to view it.

Creating a pickup location

1. Go to the ‘Settings’ page.
2. Select the ‘Pickup Locations’ button.
3. On the ‘Pickup Locations’ dashboard, click the ‘Add Pickup Location’ button.
4. On the ‘New Pickup Location’ page, enter the name, description, and address for the pickup location.
5. Once done, click the ‘Create’ button.

Editing a pickup location

1. Go to the ‘Settings’ page.
2. Select the ‘Pickup Locations’ button.
3. On the ‘Pickup Locations’ dashboard, select the ‘Pickup Location’ you wish to edit.
4. On the ‘Edit Pickup Location’ page, edit the details such as the name, description, and address for the pickup location.
   1. A map view of the pickup location will appear at the bottom of the page.
5. Once done with the changes, click ‘Save’.

Archiving a pickup location

1. Go to the ‘Settings’ page.
2. Select the ‘Pickup Locations’ button.
3. On the ‘Pickup Locations’ dashboard, select the ‘Pickup Location’ you wish to archive.
4. On the ‘Edit Pickup Location’ page, click the ‘More actions keyboard_arrow_down’ drop-down menu.
   1. Click on the ‘Archive’ button.

Unarchiving a pickup location

1. Go to the ‘Settings’ page.
2. Select the ‘Pickup Locations’ button.
3. On the ‘Pickup Locations’ dashboard, click the ‘More Filters’ button.
   1. Click the ‘Archival Status keyboard_arrow_down’ drop-down menu, then tick ‘check_box Show Archived’.
4. On the ‘Pickup Locations’ dashboard, select the ‘Pickup Location’ you wish to unarchive.
5. On the ‘Edit Pickup Location’ page, click the ‘More actions keyboard_arrow_down’ drop-down menu.
   1. Click on the ‘Unarchive’ button.
