Pharmacy Workspace Settings

  1. Go to the ā€˜Settings’ page.

  2. Click on ā€˜Your Workspace’.

  3. An overview of your contact details, business details, administrative entities and settings can be seen from this page.

  4. Under the 'Pharmacy' tab you can add or edit your:

    1. Pharmacy details such as the company name, contact information and address.
    2. Company details such as the legal name, ABN, website and bank details.
    3. Account settings including the timezone, currency, brand color and SMS sender name.
    4. Organisation's healthcare identifier.
    5. PBS approval number.
    6. Logos and graphics.
  5. Under the 'Compounding' tab you can add or edit your:

    1. ā€˜Compounding accuracy tolerance’ and ā€˜enabled capsule sizes’.
    2. 'Disable Manual Lot Entry' so users are forced to scan all ingredients without the option to manually enter them in.
    3. 'Disable Manual Balance Weight' so users are forced to enter weights via integrated balances without the option to manually enter them in.
    4. 'Liquid measurement threshold' to determine the quantity where liquids should be weighed on a balance vs measured on volume.
    5. 'Formulation expiry alert threshold' to set the threshold at which an expiring stock alert will be presented, unless the formulation expiry days is less.
    6. Dispensing settings which control if draft comments or tags are transitioned from draft to dispensed.
  6. Under the 'Ordering' tab you can add or edit your:

    1. 'Purchase Order Settings' to control your 'low stock threshold' and 'stock expiry reorder threshold'.
    2. Administrative entities shown as ā€˜Contacts’.
      1. Create a new contact by clicking on the ā€˜Create Contact’ button.
      2. Add contact name and information then click on ā€˜Create’.
      3. Edit existing contacts by clicking on the ā€˜Edit’ button.
      4. Edit contact name and information or delete contact as required.
  7. Under the 'Compounding' tab you can enable or disable your: basic Package

    1. 'Sign Off Settings' at the bottom of the page - 'Control how workflows behave when a dispense record is signed off'.
      1. Select the ā€˜SMS On Sign Off’ drop down arrow.
      2. You can ā€˜Enable’ to automatically prompt to send an 'SMS' once you have "Signed Off' on a dispense record. The 'SMS' message box will poop up and you can send your message to the customer immediately if they have a mobile number attached to their profile.
      3. You can ā€˜Disable’ this so there is no prompt to 'SMS' once a dispense record has been signed off.
  8. Under the 'Dispensing' tab you can enable or disable your: standard Package

    1. 'Sign Off Settings' at the bottom of the page - 'Control how workflows behave when a dispense record is signed off'.
      1. Select the ā€˜SMS On Sign Off’ drop down arrow.

  9. Under the 'Security' tab you can add or edit your: premium Package

    1. 'Authorisation Settings' which are available for users using E-prescriptions.
    2. Select the inactivity period before the pincode is required and number of days before password needs to be changed.
  10. Click on the ā€˜Save’ button when finished.

Adding a PIN code

standard Package
  1. Login to your Compound Direct workspace.
  2. On the top right-hand side, next to the notifications bell, select the drop-down arrow next to 'Your Name'.
  3. Click on 'Lock'.
  4. Type in a 4-digit code to 'Set Authorisation PIN'.
  5. Press 'Save'.
  6. Your workspace will now be locked after inactivity or when manually locked.

Unlocking workspace with PIN code

If you have been locked out of your workspace due to inactivity, the screen will show 'Workspace Locked'

Auto-Print Settings

  1. Go to the ā€˜Settings’ page.
  2. Click on ā€˜Your Workspace’.
  3. Click the ā€˜Dispensing’ tab.
  4. Scroll down to Auto-Print Settings
  5. Switch on the toggle toggle_on to control which labels and documents are printed automatically.

Auto-print dispense label
When enabled, the dispense label prints automatically when a draft is dispensed.


Auto-print on allocate
When enabled, the dispense label prints automatically when a batch is allocated to a dispense record.


Auto-print repeats
When enabled, repeat labels print automatically when a draft is dispensed.


Auto-print worksheet
When enabled, the worksheet prints automatically when a draft is dispensed.


Auto-print pharmacy receipt
When enabled, the pharmacy receipt prints automatically when a draft is dispensed.


Auto-print customer labels
When enabled, customer labels print automatically when a draft is dispensed.
