Prescribers

Record relevant prescriber information here. Compound Direct doesn't require you to record the prescriber before you dispense a script, however to provide the most accurate record of events, adding a prescriber to your draft before dispensing is encouraged.

Finding prescribers

  1. Go to the ‘Prescribers’ page.
  2. Under ‘Prescribers’ a list of prescribers is displayed including their email, mobile, prescriber number and type.
  3. To find the desired prescriber you may either:
    1. Find the prescriber in the list.
    2. Begin typing the prescriber's name / email / phone / prescriber number into the search bar.
  4. Click on the desired prescriber's name when found to view.

Adding prescribers

  1. Go to the ‘Prescribers’ page.
  2. Click on the ‘Create Prescriber’ button.
  3. Add the prescriber's contact details.
  4. Add the prescriber's identification details and select the relevant type of prescriber, this may include the AHPRA registration number or any other identifier that is relevant in your country.
    • If you enter the same prescriber number twice the system will alert you showing duplicate prescribers.
  5. Add any files related to the prescriber by dragging files onto the upload field on the right.
  6. Click on the ‘Create’ button to add the new prescriber.

Editing prescribers

  1. Go to the ‘Prescribers’ page.
  2. Find the prescriber to edit in the list or directly by typing their name into the search bar.
  3. Click on the prescriber's name.
  4. Edit the prescriber's contact details.
  5. Edit the prescriber's identification details and select the relevant type of prescriber.
  6. Add any files related to the prescriber by dragging files onto the upload field on the right.
  7. Click on the ‘Save’ button to save edits.

Finding prescriber scripts and patients

  1. Go to the ‘Prescribers’ page.
  2. Click on the desired prescriber's name when found to view.
  3. Click on either ‘View Scripts’ or ‘View Patients’.
    1. ‘View Scripts’ will show a searchable list of all dispensed scripts with the prescriber's name.
    2. ‘View Patients’ will show a list of patients which have been prescribed scripts from the selected prescriber.
  4. Click on the desired script or patient as required.
